What Is a Cave Hotel? Comfort in Cappadocia’s Stone and Rock Rooms

Cappadocia cave hotels are carved into volcanic tuff or built in local stone. Summers stay naturally cool; thick walls hold heat in winter. At CCR, air-conditioning and underfloor heating complete that balance with modern comfort.

From Standard Superior to Deluxe Suite, CCR offers stone, cave and combined textures. Fireplaces are decorative only (not in use). Jacuzzis are available in many room types.

Humidity and ventilation matter in cave rooms. Regular maintenance, showers, bathrobes and standard amenities (minibar, safe, kettle, TV) are provided across categories.

The only private-pool room is Padişah (D245), a 112 m² stone-and-cave residence. It has no valley view; instead it offers an in-room pool, jacuzzi and sedir seating.

When choosing a cave hotel, check texture (stone vs cave), view and capacity. CCR room pages list size ranges, guest counts and jacuzzi details clearly.
